I know it's early, but the course is set, the teams are set, (for the most part) and it's time for predictions in the 2001 Tour De France. I believe 2001 will be known as the year of Ullrich, that's right Jan Ullrich is my pick for the 2001 tour. He will be in top form this time and no one can take hime when he's riding at his best. Kevin is going to give him all the help he needs in the mountains. Lance will fight to the end, but Ullrich will prove to be too much. On another note, will George Hincapie finally get a win at Paris-Roubaix or another classic? Should Tyler Hamilton look beyond U.S. Postal to establish himself as a contender in the Tour De France? How about the Mercury squad, will they make a good showing in Europe?
