From the Editor

Its official now, Im stepping down as the club president and this will be my final newsletter.  Ive had a lot of fun, but its time for a change.  Ill still be in Yakima and involved with club, so dont expect me to disappear, like it or not Ill be around.  Im thinking of just taking up residence at Revolution Cycles as Troy and Sean have.  I am happy to say the club is going to be in great hands with Donna taking over as president and Shannon Moyer taking over the newsletter and vice presidential duties.

I need to thank all the volunteers who helped out with Gap to Gap and the Tour De Wellness.  The club members came up big for the gap to gap, and it couldnt have been done without them.  Eventually I will have that volunteer barbecue as a final thanks to all the volunteers.

2005 Time Trial Series

The 2005 time trial series will kick off on Tuesday, April 12th with the downhill course.  This year we will be raffling off a number of different prizes at the end of the season.  It will be the same deal as last year, each time you ride you add a raffle ticket.  We are still exploring possibilities for the grand prize raffle.  Time trials are a great way to measure fitness throughout the year, but they are as much about socializing with other club members as anything.  So, mark your calendars and Ill see you on Cottonwood on April 12th.
